Love to browse this site from time to time for me to decide (parentals)for my hybridization work useful in species identification as well. This makes my interest for conservation, management, and utilization of unique genotypes coming from our most mega-diverse archipelago. :!cool: :) :) ;) :)

Hi...
I'm a Phalaenopsis lover.I work as by profession Forest Supervisors.About 5 years ago i found 2 variant of Phal.sumatrana at my worksite in the radius about 50km from the both plants.The plants is very healthy at nature and can be found between 200m > 400m asl.The main problems is how to attached photo's here ?.Tq

Very informative. I have a few phal. I am trying to collect species which are native here. Also i have slipper orchids, helmet orchid, jewel orchid. Im still in the process of collecting as the mentioned species are becoming rare in their natural habitat.
Enjoyed your website. Keep it up.

Admin reply: It's great when people are doing the same in your country. As you said the Phalaenopsis species, and of course many other genera, are becoming rare in their natural habitat. The more people are growing these species in their native places then there is more chance to have a pod set and then seeds going back in the nearby jungle...
